Rosedale Girls Performed in Concordia College

Thanks to the sponsorship of Concordia Conservatory which is a countrywide recognized center for music education, twenty-six Rosedale students played their instruments and sang in the concert held in the Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts at Concordia College.

Guitar and Violin students with their teachers

At the end of each year, our music students have the unique opportunity to perform their instruments and sing in front of their families and friends. These girls, grades 3rd to 12th, attend the Music Program every Friday afternoon in Rosedale.

About the Program

Annually 26 girls from the Bronx have the opportunity to join this free tuition educational program. The classes are given by professionals who have an extensive musical career and who dedicate their afternoon to teach our students every week from September to May on Fridays.

The program offers 30 minutes of individual guitar, violin, and vocal lessons. Individual classes aloud each girl to learn according to her ability and rhythm. Teachers, on the other hand, adapt their teaching strategies, songs, practices to the age and learning capacity of each of our students.
