Rosedale seeks dedicated volunteers who are able to play a responsible role in the leadership formation of young people



Mondays and/or


3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Time Commitment:

A semester


Group Leader

  • Help and supervise students with their homework.

  • Guide students on the core subjects' struggles.

  • Listen to their reading and proofreading their writing.

  • Play intellectual games.

  • The Rosedale Center van will pick you up at Fordham University in the Rose Hill Campus at 3 pm and will drive you back at 5 pm.

9:30 am to 2 pm

Time Commitment:

School Year | Twice a month or as needed


Club Leader

  • You may volunteer during the school year in our Art of Living Club or in the High School Club.

  • The main activities for both groups are Cooking, Arts & Crafts, Field Trips, Mentoring.

  • The High School Club also pays close attention to college applications, college desition help, SATs or ACTs advising.

2020 Summer Leadership Program 


July - Aug. 

Time Commitment:

At least a week 


Project Leader

  • The Summer Leadership Program takes place for 4 weeks. 

  • Project Leaders can volunteer for one, two, three or four weeks.

  • All potential Project Leaders must attend one day of orientation and training.

  • It is open to college-age and/or professional women who want to volunteer to work with inner-city girls grades 3rd-8th in the Bronx, NY.

  • A small stipend will be provided.
